Recreational Programs

Our recreational flight training programs will teach you to fly and improve your skills and safety as a pilot.   The Recrational Pilot Permit or Private Pilot License are the first steps to becoming a pilot and having the freedom of the skies.  With these ratings you can add additional ratings and endorsements found in our Professional Development Programs to develop your skills as you gain experience and move to more complex aircraft.  (The Recreational Pilot Pe

Night Rating

The night rating adds to your PPL license, giving you more proficiency, enjoyment and flexibility by allowing you to fly at night. It is also one of the building blocks to achieving a Commercial Pilot License and is included in the Commercial Pilot License program.  Taken on its own, the Night Rating is non-vocational.

Commercial Pilot License

A Commercial Pilot License is required before you can work for hire. It is a necessary license for any professional pilot and the basis for most other advanced training.

Our Programs

The Ottawa Flight College is pleased to offer a number of vocational training and professional-development programs as well as recurrency and type checkouts. We also offer basic pilot training to amateur pilots.  Choose the program that most closely suits your needs.

Vocational Programs

After graduation from these programs, you will be able work for hire as a professional pilot.
